Historic Achievements

Tolland Democrats fought for the establishment of a Conservation Commission when unprecedented residential growth threatened to erode our quality of life.

Tolland Democrats instituted a tax freeze for those most economically at risk, when our seniors and residents with permanent disabilities were being forced from their homes by increasing property taxes.

When our schools were overcrowded and their academic accreditation was at risk, Tolland Democrats did what was right for our children and our community; we fought for lower class size, recruited the best staff and sought academic excellence in the most affordable way.
